Happy Birthday Polly! ... Matching Bouquet & Cake

For my Aunty's Birthday I made her a matching bouquet and cake! We took it out to her birthday breakfast that morning and had lots of people admiring it! Give it a go! I would love to hear how it turns out.

This is my famous Choc Banana Cake with Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing. If you have made this cake before but with the normal butter icing then I really recommend that you try it with the Choc Cream Cheese Icing - Its seriously AMAZING! The recipe is on my blog. My new thing at the moment is to decorate cakes with fresh flowers, It's super easy and I think it adds that extra special touch!

A Few Clever Ideas...

This is a very cute idea for birthday parties or to simply add to your favourite dessert!.....Freeze ice cream in a tray and then use cookie cutters to cut the ice cream shapes. So cute, and the best part is you don't have to stand around dishing out ice cream.

Girls!!... This is a great way to get a kick start on healthy lunches for work! Just make up a few jars at a time and grab one to bring to work each day. When your ready to eat, just shake it up and serve! The most important part of the layering is making sure the dressing and the spinach or whatever 'leaf' you choose don't touch. As long as they stay separate, these salads can be made up to 4 days in advance and will stay fresh in the fridge with a lid on.

This is great way to keep your drinks cool and impress all your halloween guests! It's a great talking point.
