Happy Valentines Day!
Hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day. Mine was quite busy with a lot of flowers to do. I thought I would share with you some of the arrangements I did.
I really like this front counter arrangement for Medland Orthodontics. This was inspired by Jeff Leatham who does some amazing work with flowers. I recommend you look him up!
The lovely staff at Medlands were all given a small rose arrangement with a box of chocolates. Hope you all enjoyed them girls! You deserve it!
Beautiful pink rose bouquet! These roses were stunning with their bright pink edges.
Yumm! Homemade Valentines heart Shortbread! This is a must!
Another beautiful red rose bouquet and a little bag of rose petals.... Very romantic!
I love this bright lush Valentines bouquet! I am a big fan of clusters of flowers and different colours and textures. In this bouquet you will find beautiful imported chic pink roses, hot pink spray roses, orange gerberas, green chryssie's and kale. I have to say the roses were absolutely stunning! I wish we had them all the time.
I thought I would share with you all my Valentines dinner I made at home. My boyfriend Andrew and I had a really nice double date dinner with my parents! It was very simple as I quickly put it all together after a personal training lesson I managed to squeeze in! Anyone can do this, maybe you could try it next year.
I love making table centrepieces and I came up with this heart idea. I knew I wanted to use a banana leaf to display on the plates so I incorporated it into the centrepiece too! This is super easy, I just cut strips of the banana leaf and made it into the shape of a heart on the table. I also had some left over rose petals to use so I filled the heart in with the red rose petals. Then I added a little rose pot arrangement into the middle to add some height!... Don't forget the candles for a romantic ambience!
For dinner I made a fresh brown rice salad and placed slices of Porterhouse steak on top...Healthy and super tasty!
Of course we had to have dessert too! I forgot to take a photo but I made apple and raspberry crumble...
Took a few more photos the next morning in the light! Hope you were all spoilt and had a lovely Valentines with your loved ones. I sure did!
